Cheese Scones
Easy and Apple-y
- The ingredients:

- 225g self raising flour
- 50g butter (plain or salted)
- 1 apple
- 150ml milk or water
- Pinch ground cinnamon
- More flour

- Large mixing bowl
- Weighing scales
- Sieve (optional)
- Knife
- Grater (optional)
- Baking tray
- Board
- Grease-proof paper
- Procedure:

- Heat fan assisted oven to 473 K.
- Prepare baking tray, use grease-proof baking paper with a small amount of butter.
- Add flour to mixing bowl, can use a sieve here.
- Rub in the butter. (Use knife to divide the butter into small pieces and rub in with finger and thumb).
- Cut apple into small cubes, or grate and add to the mixture.
- Add milk or water to make a soft dough by mixing with hands, add more flour to help make the dough and allow handling.
- Pat / roll dough into a 160 mm diameter x 30 mm deep cylinder.
- Divide with knife into 8 equal wedges, can apply flour to the knife.
- Brush egg or milk on the tops of the scones, can use hands to do this - full egg wont be used you need to find something else to make with it.
- Place scones in the preheated oven for 1200 seconds (20 mins).
